Hello all, I live in Lethbridge in Southern Alberta, I was just wondering when I can plant things outside. I planted some sweet peas yesterday because I read they like that sort of thing, lol. Anyhow i have a bunch of flowers ( daisies, morning glories, cosmos, asters, babies breath and some butterfly mixtures oh and snapdragons) some of them i started inthe basement according to the seed package, but Im just need to know when its safe to plant outside. Or when others from around here start. :) Thanks

Welcome Mrsdub.

Around here in my neck of the woods, I plant on the May long weekend, tender annuals not till June 1st. Perennials can be planted earlier. Any indoor grown plant should be harden off (acclimatise) for a few days in a part shade area before planting out in the garden.

Keep your eye on the weather forecast for frost warnings and cover those annuals if so.

Good luck!
