Is it too late to start ground cherry seeds?

sunita_fleuristeMay 6, 2008

This is my first time growing them and I totally forgot to plant them.

Is it too late?

And if yes....does anyone know where I can buy some seedlings? I ve never seen them for sale anywhere.

Depends which one you got. They do need time but I would still try a plant or 2 if you have space You have to watch as they sometimes have different names. Seed of Aunt Molly is not hard to find. It is a nice low growing plant when pruned early. We ate the fruit off the ground till the frost came.

Here is a link that might be useful: Ground cherry
