What is happening here? I water about once every 10 days. She get full south facing sunlight and rotated every few days.

I have had plants with sun damage that left scarring like this, but your post makes it sound like this plant has been in the same place for a long time. I know there are some fungi and other parasites that sort of eat away at plants. Maybe someone else will have more input there!

I've had it for about 10 months. She's trippled in size. The other one, right next to it, in the same pot, seems to be having no problems. I wonder about a possible fungus?

Perhaps better air circulation would help? My guess is a fungus.

Fungus. That's interesting. Should I remove that section? What's the best approach to combat this if it's a fungus?
