Deutzia 'Chardonnay Pearl'

noplacelikehomeforsureMay 12, 2010

Does anyone find that the leaves on this little shrub quickly turn brown at the tips even before the flowers are fully out in the spring?

If so, does anyone know what causes this, and if there is anything I can do to prevent it?

Does this happen every spring or just this spring? My first guess would be frost damage or damage from inclement weather.
