Old daylilies from 'Les Floralies' - Expo '67 site

Through an odd chain of people, I just inherited a bunch of badly overgrown daylily clumps from 'Les Floralies', the garden at the old Expo '67 site in Montreal (the city was throwing them out). No one in the chain knew what colour they might be, since they haven't flowered in a while - they hadn't been divided since they were planted, in 1980.

I thought I'd check and see if anyone has any memories of seeing them? Any photos?

I'm hoping they'll recover enough to start flowering next year (hopefully they will be other than common orange ones), but even if it's a couple of years, they are still kind of a neat bit of history :-)
