What is the farina?

sebastian(8-9)April 17, 2005

I should know this, but growing cannas did not interest me until recently. I need to know so that I can identify my canna. I think it is Orange Julius. Orange Julius has a white farina.

Help,

Barbie

HI Barbie,

the farina is the whitish powdery coating on the flower stalks/stems and (less often) on the leaves, esp the new ones.
