What ails my pear tree

nocalianApril 13, 2010

I found that some of my pear tree leaves have a white coating on the leaves. Any ideas on what this is from and how to take care of it? It's immediate neighbor is a peach tree with extreme leaf curl..

These are the infected? leaves

And these are the normal ones

Powdery mildew. Very common in spring on pears. Around here, it's self-limiting, then later growth will be fine.
