In the Pink

... and the red. Here are some of the blooms that I am having this year. I missed many with my camera. If any one knows my Lost the Tag cactus's actual name, pass it on please. Releave me of my ignorance and all that stuff. I remember tat it is hardy to 15F.

that rebutia blinded me again this year. One can hardly look at it in the bright sunlight without it hurting your eyes.

Yes it was absolutely glowing. To bad it is not hardy. It is the only one of the three that I have to baby during the winter the others are outside under pots and leaves during winter cold snaps. The vipara gets nothing.

I killed my R. albapillosa ( or something like that) ⦠To much hot sun or something like that. They grow around rocks and crevices in nature.

Yes, everyone should have their very own rebutia!!!! ;]
Well, it's true. Sometimes, you just have the right climate for certain plants so it's not a lot of work. Seems many of the mini cactus types are also mountain growers, so cannot take the heat as our desert types can. I have mine growing under trees for shade in mid day.

I moved it under the porch roof that gets morning sun. Those grow where there is not much brush over head but they have a lot of rocks to find crevices in.
