Mammillaria fragilis- Fruit

alkh86(9)May 1, 2013

Hey All,

I picked up a Mammillaria fragilis (Thimble Cactus) at Lowes a few months ago and it had some flowers. Now I'm noticing one little yellow fruit. How do I know if I can get some seeds from it and how do I know when it's ripe enough to harvest potential seeds? I can post a pic when I get home today.

TIA for any advice!
