I am in need of a book or reference material that can explain what I need to do with my canna as we aproach fall. My canna are still blooming like crazy, and I intend on enjoying them as long as possible, I just need to know what that is. I am a newbie. Can anyone recommend a book on canna growing? I had great success this year with a variety of beautiful colors and want to plant many more of these intoxicating beauties. Thanks a bunch.

In Florida you don't need to worry nor do anything for fall. If you have a freeze it will kill the foliage but the rhizomes will be fine. I'm in zone 7b and mine die with the first freeze and I cut the dead foliage off then next spring when the soil temperatures warm they will sprout and begin to grown again.

Good luck with your cannas...they are a very simple plant to grown.
