Canarina canariensis does anyone grow this?

chezronMay 12, 2012

I have this plant in the ground near San Diego. I am reading it likes cool moist environments - oops! Does anyone grow this plant? I am wondering if there is anything i can do here to make it happier. Is it going dormant now? Could that be the problem? I have well-draining sandy loam and the plant is in pretty much full sun (possibly another mistake?).

Personal communication with Diana of Telos rare Bulbs: She said this plant is going dormant now and how it looks is normal. Yeah!
