grass that doesn't need to be mowed

Has anyone tried the new grass seed that is suppose to grow grass that only grows a few inches and never has to be mowed?

Hi Josie,

I just seeded my lawn with eco-lawn grass seed from Wildflower Farm last September. I first killed the existing lawn with Roudup, and then seeded it. I took some pics before the snow started flying... it looks like I missed a few spots when I seeded it and will have to do some spot seeding come spring.

If you click on the September, 2005 link in the left hand column, you can follow the steps of rounding up, seeding, etc.

I'll post more pics in the spring...

Hello Krystine,
Very informative! Thank you, it's just what I was wondering about. Will wait to hear more results after this summer.
Thank you,
Josie
