Not that common because of the fact they need a lack of hot summers and cant take much winter frosts. Other Brugs are better for that..but B.sanuinea has those exotic red trumpets in a smaller attractive scale the others don't have.
nice. and that cycad is fantastic !
Beautiful! Never could get this variety to grow well for me.
That's lovely coloring and so unusual!
I miss seeing more brugs down in LA. I used to live in the Bay Area and and there were so many brugmansias in the East Bay. Taking walks in the evening and smelling that delicious spicy scent from the blooms...
My son brought me some cuttings sunday evening from one of his friends. It's a nice pink.He brought some of the flowers as well so I could see what color they would be,i put those in water on the dining room table. They made the room smell so good.Only lasted 2 days though.
Brug "Charles Grimaldi" is the largest and most fragrant that I know of. Easy to grow..just stick a cutting in the ground and water. Easy as that.
The B.sanguinea is tricky to keep. ONE drying out and its done for. And over 85-90f can do them in if not just about soaked in water. But,its a beauty.
