lime tree - no blossoms

jjurschJuly 2, 2011

I have a bearss lime tree and a dwarf meyer lemon tree that were both planted about 2 years ago (in the ground). Last winter both suffered some freeze burn on the top part of the tree. Both have recovered from that and new leaves are all over the place. The meyer lemon tree is covered with blossoms and lemons growing. The lime tree, however, had one blossom and therefore one lime is growing on the entire tree. Why is this? Is there anything I can do to promote more blossoms or is it still recovering from the shock of the freeze? Thank you!

I am sure your lime will grow out of the freeze damage and bloom normally if you are patient. Al
