Was surprised this morning when I went out with the dogs to see one of the cacti buds open.

They look just like mine. I was going to ask for the proper name because I know there are so many ones out there.

We have these out in the yard. They grow great up here in the desert. I love how they brighten up the place. Sad thing is that they don't last very long.
Beautiful, thank you.

Stush, glad I could help you on the name.

They do brighten everything up, I too wish the blooms lasted longer.

I was just given one last year that blooms pink. Looks all the same rest of year. It may take a few more years befor it starts to bloom.
