Nepenthes offsets?

PlantPropagandaJuly 22, 2013

I just got two new Nep. 'Alata' and both have quite a few of what I would call "offsets" in any other plant growing from the base of the main stalk. The offsets have one long stem / root connecting them to the mother and all have the cutest, tiniest little pitchers.

Are these offsets or just new growths? I have other Neps that have multiple growth points at the base but they are very mature and look quite different. Can I separate these babies, or should I let them grow before doing so?

Pic attached! Thanks. :)

Looks to be new offsets, i think you would be safe to separate, they are cute guys, good luck.
