Neem oil

byron_1(z10FL)August 8, 2012

For some reason, I am having problems trying to find 100% coldpressed Neem oil anywhere! I ordered 100% coldpressed from Amazon.com, however when it arrived, the Neem oil did not say 100% coldpressed. However, it said 100% Organic Neem Seed Oil. Is this the same?

I am noticing, for some reason, the coldpressed title is being removed from many Neem oils. Does anybody knows what is the deal with this?

It doesn't necessarily have to be cold pressed to work, there are a variety of other methods of processing the oil that are just as effective. If you want to be picky and want it specifically cold pressed (the traditional method) and not processed any other way, keep looking there are companies that still use that method out there. Maybe they all just don't bother printing it on their bottle labels, just look at the company's website.

However, if you are concerned that the product you bought is inferior, just email the company and ask how it was extracted/processed.
