Anyone Ever Used Earthgrow Potting Soil?

calpat(zone9ab No.Ca.)September 25, 2006

H.D. had a huge bag on sale so I'm trying it, however I was surprised to find a lot of twigs, something that looks like charcoal and other unidentifable stuff. I've got it, opened the bag so I guess I'll use it. If you would like to know results I'll post them as soon as something happens to the slips I've just potted up. It's labeled as EarthGro.

I always check the baag for a list of ingredients. I steer away from composted sewage sludge (heaavy metals etc) I stick with OSH's brands I mix a couple of different bags together and so far, my plants and my friends (I just top dressed her plants) are all doing great.
