Anyone growing this in their garden?

One of those subtropical things from southern Mexico that grows like a weed here once it warms up in the spring, and competes with a Jacaranda tree for showy blue flowers. Attractive foliage as well, but with a kick! They don't call this Mala Mujer for no reason, but I still enjoy using it in the right situation even so, but have to remind myself not to grab the trunk or pick up fallen leaves without gloves on.

Here is a link that might be useful: Mala Mujer looking seductive

I've wanted to...despite all the bad's stunning.
There's a property down the road from us that had quite a bit of this inside the wall of the yard along the road and then someone new bought the house and tore it all out. I knew the person who bought the place, sadly not a gardener.

No thorns, just itching bristly hairs, although some people swear that their plants aren't irritating... I guess you didn't look at the photo link, and are probably thinking of Chorisia speciosa.
