Which shrubs for under windows?

malon017March 27, 2009

I need to plant something pretty in front of some leggy nandinas under a window in my front yard. I have one hydrangea I put in and one camelia but wonder what would be best. I'm trying to put in some layers that I can work annuals into to give depth to the front border. Any ideas? Also, any great nurseries in Raleigh/Cary area? Thanks.

Am I correct to assume that's a shady or partial shady location? To know more about the sun for the area and the height of your windows would help. Photos would help, too if you can post a few. Color scheme preferences?

There are a lot of great nurseries in the area.
