Lagerstroemia Apalachee source in central NC

patty57(7 NC)March 3, 2014

I was wondering if someone in central North Carolina knows of a source/nursery who sells Apalachee. I have a few mail order sources but would rather pick up if possible.

Thank you,
Patty

Have you tried Cooper-Payne Tree Farms? I don't know anything about them, but their website shows several varieties of crape myrtle (not Apalachee). They're in Hillsborough. You could try calling to see if they have it:

I am also looking for an Apalachee crape myrtle specimen tree for my home in NC but cannot find anyone yet that sells them. Do not wish to order on-line so I have been calling tree nurseries across eastern US with no luck...any source suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks
