cactus flopping over

dfarroJuly 20, 2014

I have two cactus plants that have grown to about 8 inches tall and are now flopping over. Does anyone know why this has happened and any ideas as to what to do about it. I think they will eventually snap. I think they are noto cactus, maybe?

Is the narrower part where it bends softer that the rest of the plant. I wonder if it is rotting....

Might have to clip the cactus above that point, let it dry out and callous then pot it up.

Looks like they aren't getting enough light as they are both stretching towards the window. You'll need to gradually stand them up while exposing them to stronger light on the opposing side to help it right again.
