Planting

demonstimpy(7b)September 17, 2013

Hi there,

I have 4 Brugs in pots on my deck.
They've been blooming nicely.
I am in 7b, average first frost is listed as early/mid November.
Is it too late to get them in the ground to over winter?

In my opinion, YES, They will not have time to overcome shock and establish a good root system. Someone else may have a different idea. I have between 30 and 40 inground and they were all planted out in the Spring

Kinda what I was thinking.
I'll cut them back in the pots and over winter and plant next spring I think.
Thanks.
