Aloe ID

I picked up this aloe, at least I think it's an aloe from a local nursery. No tags. I liked the red edge. The bottom leaves are kind of beat up but it's in a 3 gal pot and I only paid $5.

Karyn, I think it's aloe striata.

I comfirm that. Their is another variety of Aloe striata wheretheyhave no spots and the leaves are shorter.

There are a lot of Aloe striata hybrids, but that does indeed look like the real thing. Now you know it's part of a collection of three, right, along with A. karasbergensis and A. reynoldsii?
