Chinese Honey Orange?

elaine_8b_ga(z8b GA)January 19, 2009

My son brought a bag full of citrus from a friend he works with. The friend's tree is quite large (higher than her house)and she calls them Chinese Honey oranges. They look and peel like a tangerine. I would like to plant some of these trees, but can't find any information with that name. Does anyone know where I can find them. I have saved seed. Will they be the same as the parent tree?

These are also called Ponkan Tangerines. Do a google search, and you'll probably find some resources to buy them.
