Setting out tomatoes

m_taggart(7b)April 12, 2013

Is anyone doing this yet? I'm tempted to plant mine this weekend, as they are starting to get too large for their 4" pots. Weather looks promising and they will sit under a row cover for the next few weeks. What do you say?

Watt Quarles, a local seed company, has a very nice planting date guide for central NC. It suggests apr 10 thru july 15 for tomato plants. It is very useful for all veggies.

Here is a link that might be useful: planting guide
