It's an aloe...I think it's aloe vera, but I wouldn't place a bet on that.

it could be aloe vera but it doesnt seem to grow as big as the true aloe vera i have. maybe i should get a picture of them side by side?

I believe you have two types of aloes in that pot.
The darker green one could be Aloe 'California', the lighter one could be Aloe mcloughlinii, if not an Aloe vera. Both looking pretty healthy!

Yeah it could be a California. The lighter one I was told to be an Aloe "Helen haage".
