Is this a crested echeveria? And what do I do with it?

teresanohJuly 13, 2014

I bought this plant because I had never seen anything like it, and it looks very healthy. After doing a little research I think it might be a crested echeveria, but having never seen one, and still learning about the different types of succulents, I'm not sure. Any thoughts as to what I have? Also, should I/can I divide it so I can see more of the stem? I will add another picture showing the stems. Thanks for any thoughts and help you are all so generous providing!

Thank you seedmoney for the id. Will it be okay to divide it? There seem to be several discreet stems.
