When can I cut back and move a camelia

At the nursery here the man recommends planting in fall or winter. I need to move two camelias but don't want to lose them. Any advice is appreciated.

Rosemary, sure. You can have all you want. I rooted some gardenias easily. I need to root some more this year. I can't successfully root roses but I can root some gardenias.
