If anyone wants to trade I have a huge piece that broke off a few years ago. I would want something about the same size.

Each winter I take this out and just lay it on cardboard and poor water of it once a month. It's become quite large! Each spring, back outside into this old birdbath. Again not sure what it is? Brain cactus a common name I guess?

Thanks for the tips, I will research those. It bloomed last year, but I don't remember the flower color. Here is another photo.

Edit:

Wow it could be either. I need to see the flower again. Hopefully it will flower. I have had a hard time making it flower. It has only flowered once. Super hardy though surviving hard frosts and sunburn in the spring.
