Hoya about to bloom
Beautiful photographs. Thanks for sharing!!!
Wow! I love that third one down with the yellow and orange.
I'm waiting on a few lilies, that the deer haven't eaten yet, to open. If I don't get a fence around them this week I'm sure they'll get the rest.
I grew a hoya for three years and never knew what it was, then one day it bloomed and the greenhouse was overwhelmed sweet fragrance and I've been a big fan of them ever since.
That orange and yellow lily is named "Cancun". It is pretty tall.. I would estimate a little over three feet and the flowers are about as big as one of my hands. I received a boat load of lily bulbs from a friend this winter and this was one of them. The same friend gave me the hoya too.
I actually took the hoya photo yesterday but went out a few hours ago and found this one lonely little flower..Could have got a better macro if I were not so lazy that I didn't want to change lenses lol.
