Please look in the gallery portion of this forum and help me identify the Clivia species.
I believe it is a Cyrthantiflora (cross between a C.Nobilis and C.Miniata). A very useful plant for hybridizing.
Many thanks dries. The origin of this bulb was a rescue from a landfill dump in San Diego, California. To me it looks most like a C. gardenii. Any other opinions??
It may be a interspecific (gardenii or caulescense X miniata) but I do not think it is a pure pendulous species as the flower looks bigger, it is standing up more and flares open which makes me think there is some miniata genes.
I stand open to correction.
