Non-profit in need of seeds!

Chrissi77January 23, 2014

Hello, My name is Christine and I am posting on behalf of my local community garden for which I am a volunteer board member. I am trying to get seeds for several projects that we will be trying to start in our community garden this year. They include seed give a-ways to those in need, plant a row, eat me garden, seed lending library, food for the hungry, and an educational garden to teaching how to skills. I am looking for donations and was wondering where to start?

Hello. You may already know that UVM has an outreach program, they may have some useful contacts:

Here are some links to people who may help:

It might be too late for this year, but ask your local garden centers about getting year old seed for free. Simply asking for free seeds at various forums might work too. Be sure to deliver pictures of the results. Good luck!
