Minneola Tangelo - very sour fruits

wayne523March 8, 2013

I purchased this tree from OSH last year. It's only about 3 feet tall now and has about a dozen fruits. all of the fruits are actually decent size and some are deep orange/reddish color now. I tried one the other day and it was sour as my Myers lemon. I don't think Minneola is suppose to be this sour. what can I do to sweet up my fruits? the tree is getting plenty of sun light daily.

They're a bit sour. I've gotten them in stores before and decided not to get a tree because they're too sour for me.
