Will a thin wire fence be enough support?

njmomma(z6 NJ)April 27, 2010

I see clematis growing on trellises, arbors, and wooden fences, but is my thin wire fence good enough or do they need a wider surface to be happy?

Thanks!

Natanya

Your thin fencing is fine.

Thin is better for their petioles to grip!
