Increase in blooms

Randy31513(Georgia 8b)March 29, 2012

This year the number of blooms on the in ground ten feet tall Myer is at least double what it was last year and I had nearly 300 lemons. The Satsuma is the same way.

Warm winter? Less dry this year than last?

Could be both of those; could be a year's worth of good root development; could be 'just because'!

So, whatcha gonna do with all of those lemons?

LOL I will zest and juice till my hands hurt then do some more. I freeze a Meyer lemonade syrup that you just add water to make about the best tasting lemonade ever.

I ran across a recipe for Meyer Lemonade and fresh pineapple sorbet that will get a go this year.
