Aloe petricola flowering
Beautiful! I love the last shot!
You petrify me with pleasure, Aloe-speaking that is. Mine never did flower, but I think I had it until it was only half the height of yours.
Thanks Linda. Jeff, it is one of my favourites, love the bi-coloured aloe flowers. I am growing a Aloe marlothii x globuligemma x petricola hybrid, which may be interesting in the future!
Yikes that's gorgeous. If you do get any seed from it. I sure would be interested. I have a A globuligemma. It is a slow grower. I think I need to add some humus to the soil.
Mara, I am growing some new petricola from seed now, in order to have more than one to produce seed for future. My globuligemma seedlings actually grew fairly quickly compared to others.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder what I am doing wrong with the globuligema. Maybe I should change the dirt in the pot.
