Satsuma on Flying Dragon- ultimate size?

alh_in_flApril 4, 2013

One of my Satsuma trees is on Flying Dragon rootstock. I know Flying Dragon is a dwarf rootstock. But how "dwarf" is "dwarf"?

How big can I expect the tree to get?

Most likely under 10', and slower to mature.

FD is a SEMI-dwarfing rootstock; Patty is right about the size, assuming it is planted inground.

Hi, Patty... how goes the wedding prep? When do you go to P.C?

Thanks! It's about 6 feet right now. I am glad to hear it might get somewhat larger.
