Mystery Plant from a swap a couple years ago?

Hey, missed you all this year! I got this plant at one of our Raleigh swaps a couple years ago, but no one knew what it was then. I just discovered a bud on it, which is always cool! It feels velvety, nothing spiny or prickly. Anxious to see it bloom! Anyone recognize it?

Ooh it's one of my favorites. I also got one from a recent swap (last fall or last spring). Mine has been blooming a lot even though it's still a tiny plant. Stapelia also known as Carrion Flower because the flower odor attracts flies. To me they smell like compost or the rich soil in a forest but at times I get a whif of something stinky. I have no idea who is bringing them to the swaps but I'm glad I got one. Back when I lived in OK I planted some at the base of a mimosa tree and by the end of summer it had made a large mound - I was giving it away to anyone that came by.
