4 Years Growing and Really Struggling this Year

arkberry(8b)May 11, 2014

I am in my fourth year of growing citrus in containers and I am having problems I have never experienced in the past. All plants are in a 5-1-1 mixture, get Foliage Pro one per week, and have been treated with neem oil, and hosed off on a regular basis.

This is the first two weeks it has been sunny and warm here so I would expect to see some leaf drop from climate change.

The attached picture is of new growth and blooms on a Moro blood orange. This plant is suffering from severe drop of mature leaves and branch die back.

other thread, different picture

If leaves are dropping, we need more images:
- the plant overall
-the trunk & soil/potting mix.

Also need more history; start with these then add what might be important
- where growing -- pot or ground
- if not, what did you fill it with?
0- watering practices
- fert practices

Here is a link that might be useful: other thread, different picture, same question

I would recommend some Iron, and possibly some Epsom Salts when watering. Whenever my Moro is a bit pale, I do a supplement. You could also top with some slow-release fertilizer.
