Any recommnendations which fruit trees are pretty for a front lawn... not too too big? I am in Florida, SW gulf coast, sseveral miles inland, Can these be pruned to a shape?

Not a citrus tree. Citrus and lawns do not play nicely together. Both demand lots of nitrogen, and the lawn will take most of the nitrogen before the citrus tree can get to it. Also, citrus do not like to be sprinkled, so if your lawn has sprinklers, another reason not to plant a citrus tree in the middle of your lawn. Lastly, citrus are tip producers, so "pruning for shape" usually means pruning off fruit. You can do some pruning with citrus for shape, but not in the way I think you're wanting. Usually, citrus have a very nice natural shape, and you really don't need to do a lot of pruning, save to lift the skirt so you don't have fruit on the ground, and in removing wild water sprouts that cause asymmetry as well as dead interior wood in older, more mature trees.
