Over the weekend we got some sad news about one of the great conifer propagators.
Here is a link that might be useful: Dennis Dodge
This is a really sad thread and though I didn't know him well, what part of his life I did know, I will miss him. May his many conifer selections, stock plants and small grafts in my own garden and others carry his legacy throughout the ages.
Wonderful words by Dax there. Very sad loss.
This is such a shock. My wife and i stopped to meet him on a cold march day a few years ago. It was a great time talking plants. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
I've gotten several plants from Dennis over the years. Always easy to deal with and eager to answer any questions. I'll look at those plants in a new light...
Praying for his family and friends.
sad news indeed, my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family, thank you dennis for making my garden a better place,
Very sad news indeed and like Dax he taught me everything that I know about conifers. He had such a passion. RIP good buddy.
