Our Clematis This Year

phonegirl(4)July 6, 2014

I have lurked here for years admiring all your clem pictures.
I did post a few years back tho. Thanks to all of you sharing
your beautiful pictures and our dear daughter who loves to
buy plants, I now have some that I truly enjoy. I do need to
ID them so I know which ones I have. That too will come.

My photobucket account is almost full so will try to keep posting
others throughout the day if anyone cares to look. TIA for looking
and please keep sharing your inspiration photos! I've had this one
for 3 years. I'm just thrilled t's so loaded with blooms this year. Has
been so fun to watch it keep bringing on more blooms.

This clematis normally climbs up the Mtn. Ash tree. However
due to all the rain this year, it grew out of control and
spread on top of other spring flowers before I realized it.

DDaughter bought this bell clem and a white one last year on clearance
for me. I had DHusband make me a couple of trellis's for them to climb up.
However while digging in their bed this spring, I disturbed the white ones
roots so it only has two stems coming up. I'm hoping it will do better next year.

This one has quite a few more blooms so should be
prettier in time. The other one in this bed isn't blooming
right now.

I have two different clematis growing up the oak tree in this bed.
It has red lillies and a white bleeding heart growing in it also. I
call it my red, wht and blue bed. It is always blooming for the
4th of July.

If any of you know the names of any of my clematis please
let me know. I plan to go out and write down the names from
any tags I still have and keep track.

Your clematis plants are looking great.

I think the first one might be Hagley, a favorite of mine. It helps to have a close up photo to see any petal detail and the color of the anther. The bell might be Rooguchi.

Good to see you posting again.
