Don't use Bug-Geta on your Clematis !

sayhellonowJuly 20, 2013

I almost killed two of my favorite Clematis vines with Bug-Geta because I had never read the Instructions that came with it. My Ramona was stunning this year, then I noticed the leaves turning brown, and it was dying. By accident, I found out that it was the Bug-Geta. I had been using this product for years with great results on my perennials and annuals, but had never read the instructions until last week. Lo and behold, it said not to use it on Daylilies or Clematis. Eureka! I believe I've managed to save one of my vines, but the other one may not survive. To date, thankfully, I haven't lost any daylilies.

Some of you may know this already, but I thought it worth mentioning here. I'm posting in the Daylilies forum also.

Wow! I don't use it, but it's wonderful that you posted your experience so others can benefit. Thanks so much.
