Attempting my first citrus tree air layer

tmc2009June 22, 2014

I set up my first air layer attempt on a Owari Satsuma that has some type of damage going on at the root stock soil level. There is some leaf drop but the bark seems to be trying to heal too. I decided to try an air layer on one of the branches.

Here is a link that might be useful: Owari Satsuma Air Layer

Good luck; you can air layer almost any plant you will get a clone of the existing plant... What you will NOT get is a rootstock that may be resistant to or adapted to your local conditions.
