lemon tree disease

jmecherulJuly 18, 2010

Hi all

i have this lemon tree and it grew for a while (albeit a little slow). i do not know almost anything about plants, but lately all of the older leaves (the ones before the newest growing) are starting to have these little dots on the back of the leaves. the front of the leaves turn yellow and eventually fall off. i am afraid i am going to loose this tree as i had it for couple of years but it never flowered. this seems like a fungus or disease or something. i have attached some links to some pictures in hope you guys/girls can direct me in how take care of this and save my tree. thank you very much in advance.

Not a disease. It's edema, a physiological event.

You don't need to fix it. It will stop on its own when environmental change. The existing spots will remain and will change to "corky" and brown -- that's normal for the process.
