Listing of the mosses of Georgia, USA

terrestrial_man(9)January 24, 2011

At the Georgia Botanical Society's website I started a thread wherein I began to list the mosses of Georgia that I could determine that are to be found there from information at the MOBOT efloras website.

In addition I began to link to images of the listed moss species found at the USDA website, but I have added more images that are from other sites around the world of what I could find of the same species that is found in our state of Georgia.

If you love mosses you may want to check out the links I have at the beginning of the list, found on page 2 of the thread at the bottom, as some have some very excellent images of mosses.
