Dicksonia

sneyomMarch 11, 2014

I have wrapped my dicksonia Antarctica up for the winter but when can I unwrap it. I live in the U.K. In the midlands. We haven't had much frost and no snow up to now. Shall I leave it another month or shall I unwrap it and keep a wary eye on the weather. Manynthanks

Try asking on the Growing on the Edge forums, there's a lot of people from the UK there who are experts on Dicksonias and other treeferns.

Gary, I get the impression that some of them feel I'm not really "on the edge". But they're only thinking hot/cold, and even then hot/cold is relative anyway. There are all sorts of edges we find ourselves on with gardening. Just google gardening on the edge.
