ferns native to pa

gord_pa(z4pa)March 22, 2005

I have two questions :

  1. How many Ferns are native to Pennsylvania, and where

would I find this info.

  1. Are there any Ferns growing in the wild that are

not native to Penna.

Using the link below, you can search for all ferns (or any other type of plant) that are native to the U.S. and are found in PA.

You can also search for non-native ferns that are located in PA.

Here is a link that might be useful: USDA Advanced Search

You can find Pennsylvania in the second box under "1. Distribution". Just hit the little arrow on the bottom of the scrool bar until you get down to Pennsylvania.

To see it in the results list, you have to be sure to check the little box way to the right side of the page - "Display in Report".
