Bear paw fern care.

amccourApril 5, 2008

I'm not finding much information on this for some reason.

The fern doesn't really look sick, but it doesn't seem to be that healthy either. It's only putting out fronds at about the rate that old ones drop, which doesn't seem normal to me -- it also seems to be dropping fronds a bit more often than it should, and when this happens, they sort of turn white at the center, get brownish edges, and eventually drop off. The new fronds aren't deformed or anything -- I think. Sometimes it puts out these really tiny fronds that don't develop much. Usually it's normal sized fronds, though. I don't know if this means anything.
